Join Us in Supporting Scott and his Heart Recovery
Story
On Monday, May 26, our dear friend Scott was out fishing up in Cuddebackville when he started feeling off. He hiked out of the woods realizing something was very wrong. Knowing he was not in an area with cell service he began driving to the hospital. The pain was unexplainable but with the Grace of God he made it to the ER, fell to the ground and suffered a massive heart attack. Thanks to quick medical attention by the staff at Garnet Medical Center he is stable and recovering — but the road ahead will be long and challenging.
Scott will need to wear a life vest (a wearable defibrillator) and remain on strict rest for several weeks before he can even begin cardiac rehab. During this critical time, he will be unable to work, drive, mow the lawn, or even pick up his beloved dogs.
We’re rallying support to help Scott manage day-to-day needs and cover living expenses while he focuses entirely on healing. Any contribution — financial, prayers, practical help, or simply sharing this message — will make a meaningful difference in his recovery journey.
Thank you for keeping Scott in your thoughts and for showing up in whatever way you can.
